The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement across the fandom. Starting with the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to trainers forming strong views on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting unique designs that highlight their traits, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to link this with astrology? This list is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. The zodiac symbol known for being endearingly critical is clearly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s whole lineage, from a always surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to keep the peace, there are many Scales who would likely appreciate Super Audino's skills. Though, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to worry more about others.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Abandoned as a doll, it became consciousness through pure hatred and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a performance. As a Archer personally, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful small entertainer” is innumerable.
