The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
